Orthopedic Doctor with a Master’s in Orthopedic Restorative Plastic Surgery from the Escola Paulista de Medicina/Universidade Federal de São Paulo (EPM/UNIFESP) and a Ph.D. in Orthopedics and Traumatology from the Escola Paulista de Medicina/Universidade Federal de São Paulo (EPM/UNIFESP).

Lecturer and Associate Professor at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at EPM/UNIFESP. Head of the Traumatology Discipline, Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Federal University of São Paulo (2019 – 2022).

He was the President of the Brazilian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SBOT – São Paulo Region) between 2007 and 2008. He is currently the editor in chief of the SBOT Journal.
